Monaco was always a bit tricky for me to get to, been waiting for the right opportunity to visit this small European country for a very long time, and finally got the chance to come by when visiting the nearby French Nice. Took the train and spent a day wandering around the lovely city and seeing some of the sites. It all looked very posh, nice beaches, good views from the nearby hills with fortresses and the surrounding mountains. It’s all very walkable and quite beautiful, though fairly expensive in comparison to the nearby area. A day-trip seems right on point to be able to cover most of the highlights.
