Yale University has always been on my TODO list for visiting US college campuses, but the location in New Haven, Connecticut, made that a bit difficult. In 2024, while visiting Philadelphia and the east coast was invite to join my sister for a weekend conference up in Yale. She attended her conference, and I got a chance to explore the campus.
It was a sunny spring day, and so the weather was quite lovely and the campus was just beginning to bloom. The campus is not what I expected, but obviously has lots of old-school charm. I walked around a lot, entered some buildings, attended one small campus museum, and attended a concert.
Not sure it’s anything I’d recommend making a special trip for, but if you’re into campuses, and doing the New York – Boston rail link, might be worthwhile to stop over for a few hours and get a feel for the campus.
