In my most recent visit to the London area to visit the Royal Holloway University of London campus, I visited a friend in the area, and we took a day out to explore Windsor. We walked around a lot, saw the Windsor center, walked the castle grounds, and enjoyed some of the local charm. The next day we explored the nearby area of Painshill Park with its Crystal Grotto and gothic tower. Two fun places to hang out and walk around just outside of London.
