I’ve always wanted to explore more of the middle east, but it is only 2-3 years ago that I was really able to overcome a technicality that allowed me to visit. Since then, I was able to get a bit of the Emirates with Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but not much more.
So, when I took a flight with Qatar Airways and with a stop-over in Doha, I decided to stay over for a few days to explore a bit. I’m glad I did. Since I wasn’t sure what to expect, everything was new and interesting, some exceeded expectations, some diverged from what I thought Qatar would be, but overall the stay was very positive and I’m glad I got to see it.
