While wandering around the London area in England, and before making it to northern parts of the United Kingdom, I decided to do a bit of a detour and hop over to southern France to warm up a bit and see a bit of sun and blue waters. There was a flight to Nice, and since I’ve never been to that region of France and I’ve been wanting to visit Monaco for quite some time, I flew in for a few days. Nice did not disappoint, a very charming relaxed town, and I spent a few days wandering around and seeing the main sites, with a one day trip to the nearby Monaco.
Lovely beaches, beautiful architecture, hill top spectacular views, public art, it felt a bit too short. Nice and the coastal area seemed like they’re worth exploring for a lot longer, so I’ll have to come back and see more.
