In 2023, I had a chance to come back and visit Osaka again. The previous time I visited a decade earlier in 2014, I only did a one day stop in Osaka on the way to Kyoto and Nara, and since it was after a red-eye night flight, I ended up not seeing much, mostly around the Osaka Castle area. However, in 2023 I lingered longer and was able to better appreciate the wonders of this city. Among the many things that I saw and did, I also did some of the mandatory tourist attractions, like Universal Studios. I’ve done Universal Studios in Florida, United States, but that was also many years back, and lacked the Japanese funkiness twist. This was fun, much more fun than I expected. A full day of rides, shows, and just general nostalgia mixed with Japanese flavored craziness.
Much to enjoy and experience in there, really brings out the inner child in you, especially if you’re into some of the Universal Studios wonders (e.g., Harry Potter ) and their affiliated brands (e.g., Super Mario Bros and Nintendo).
